| | | This is the "Forest of Serenity". A forest of peace and harmony. Very deeply carved with birds and elfs, it has a feathered snake with a human head. A bird's nest with a baby bird and a broken egg. This item was donated to SNAP ( a Spokane Housing Program).

 | | | I call this piece "Good Year for Duck". It is a solid black walnut log inlaid with old ivory. The grapes are so deep you could almost pick them. The challis of wine (the duck has gem stone in its eye) sets the theme. I enjoyed carving this piece. This walnut log is very hard and indeed the finest kind of wood to work with. Many, many hours, all by hand, went in to it's creation. 5 ft long 8 inch round. $2800. | |
The "Cabin in the Forest" is black walnut inlaid with very old piano ivory. This piece was very deeply carved. A bird flying out of one end and a caterpillar crawling on a leaf flower buttons are each inlaid with old ivory. A feast for your eyes. Sadly this work was stolen out of my car in Federalway, Washington
